Build skills and experience with an apprenticeship

Since 2020, we’ve partnered with Sheffield Hallam University to blend real-world experience with academic learning. Our current apprentices are thriving across our IT and People Management teams and we’re spreading our opportunities nationwide, creating career opportunities in London and Leeds via our degree apprenticeship programme in Digital Tech Solutions.

We’re also partnering with North Eastern University for the degree component (London-based apprentices only).

Our commitment:

  • 20% dedicated study time for apprentices
  • Monthly salary and full university fee coverage
  • Essential job readiness skills guaranteed
  • Personal mentor for support throughout your FDM journey.

Who we’re
looking for

Gain valuable work experience, skills and practical training while earning a salary and working towards a university degree.

We recruit our apprentices in April/May of each year with a September start date. Recruitment is now closed for 2024 but you can register your interest for opportunities in 2025 here.

Our apprentice programme could be a great fit if you are:

  •  Over the age of 16
  • Able to satisfy entry requirements for a degree in digital and technology solutions at one of our partner universities
  • Based in the UK
  • Looking for a paid work opportunity
  • Professional and enthusiastic, with a ‘can-do’ attitude

Earn while you learn with our unique three-year paid apprenticeship. Spend four days a week honing your technical skills with FDM and our clients, gaining hands-on experience that sets you apart.
